Summer Time

The summer is needed! As an educator, summer is a time of greatness...and for many reasons. The end of the school year means many tears are shed, and most of them ends five minutes after...when sumner actually sinks in. Being an educator, I understand that sometimes it’s really hard to get truly unplugged. We just can’t stay away too long, because we still need to be connected. That work mode slowly creeps back before you even know it. To all the Faculty and staff at Lamar...go unplug...do decompress...go on vacation...just go...and go be you! The time will come soon when you wish you would have unplugged more than you did. You deserve the very best of summers, because you are the best teachers in the land.
